Sweater Weather Nail Tutorial

Hi Guys! Since it’s practically fall (at least here in Sweden) and school has begun I have once again made a nail plan. This is to make my life easier, so I already know what I’m going to do and to make sure I have the time! We spend Wednesday through Friday in the bakery at school so I have Saturday through Tuesday to paint/have painted nails and the schedule makes that easier, we also have an internship coming up in a few weeks and that’ll take Monday through Friday away so the plan will make everything easier for me!

Anyway! This week’s design was sweater print inspired so if you want to know what and how I did them just keep reading! And as usual the polishes used are listed at the bottom.

As always I started off with a Basecoat and applied a red polish until it was opaque. I also applied one coat of topcoat.

When all the layers are dry I added one thick line and two thinner lines on either side of my nails going from the cuticle to the tip using a thin brush and some black acrylic paint. I use acrylic because it’s easier to remove if you make a mistake!

I then added a thicker line and a thinner line underneath going across the nail.

Apply a topcoat and you’re done!

I hope you liked this design, if you did be sure to like/share this and follow me here, on Instagram ellaberlin_nails and pinterest ellanails! xx And as always feel free to comment if you have any questions or requests! 🙂

Polishes used are:

OPI Amore at the Grand Canal – Red

OPI Natural Nails – Basecoat

Seche Vite – Topcoat
