Negative Space Vintage Nail Tutorial!

Hey Guys! It’s been sooo nice to have a few days off and I’ve done nothing but painting my nails, meeting friends and watching TV! Now this design is like really classic, it’s vintage with roses and the negative space zig zag pattern makes me really love it! I hope you’ll do too so let’s get started with the design!

As always start off with a layer of basecoat and to your thumb, index and pinky finger apply a peach nude polish and leave your middle and ring finger with just basecoat.

To the naked nails apply chevron nail vinyls spacing them evenly.

Then apply the peach nude polish over the chevrons until it’s opaque and then remove the vinyls while the polish is still wet, if any of the polish leaks through just fix it up with some polish remover and a brush.

On all of your nails using a small brush and some light pink polish paint the shapes of your roses with window-wiper motions, do this wherever you think fits around 3-4 roses together.

On top of the light pink paint some darker pink using the same brush and technique to make it more dimensional.

Between the roses and on the sides paint some leaves using the same brush and a mixture of light and grass green polish.

Apply topcoat and you’re done!
